Renowned Nigerian record labels, Mavin Records and Chocolate City had a friendly football during the weekend which ended badly for one of the record labels.

Mavin Records, founded by Don Jazzy on May 8, 2012 has over the years housed artistes like Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, D’ja, Iyanya and a lot more. It currently houses Ladipoe, Rema, Crayon, Boy Spyce, Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, and Magixx, among others.

Chocolate City was also founded in 2005 by lawyer Audu Maikori with Paul Okeugo and Yahaya Maikori. Over the years, the label has houses acts like M.I. Abaga, Jesse Jagz, Brymo, Ice Prince, CKay, Dice Ailes, Nosa, and others. It currently houses gems like Blaqbonez, Candybleakz, and others.

The friendly match which consisted of team members from both labels. In a post via Mavin Record star, Crayon verified Twitter account, he revealed that Mavin Records won the match by six goals to one. See screenshot of his post below.

Meanwhile: Starboy Entertainment in-house disc jockey, Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, known within the showbiz circles as DJ Tunes has announced a joint EP with his label boss, Wizkid.

The highly rated Nigerian-US based disc jockey has taken to his official social media page to announce the completion and the official release date for the collaborative body of work with the globally recognized recording artiste.

DJ Tunez on Friday, August 5th, 2022 disclosed this in a post via his verified Twitter account after delivering an electrifying performance at the biggest gaming event in the world in Saudi Arabia few days ago.

Taking to his Twitter page , the multiple award winning DJ stated that the project, captioned “Cruise Control” has been scheduled to arrive on Friday, August 26, 2022. DJ Tunez posted alongside a short video. “Cruise Control EPwith Big Wiz @wizkidayo Drops Aug 26th!!! Are you ready ???”, he posted. Screenshot below.
