The enstoolment of 22-year-old Chukwuka Noah Akeze as King in Delta State, Nigeria is one that has taken Nigerians by surprise with respect to his age and intelligence.

Well, the monarchical system of government in Africa is one that is not taken lightly, especially in Nigeria where it is being cherished and upheld. To become a monarch is not just by mere selection but by membership or birth into the royal family.

Chukwuka is blessed to have come from the lineage of Kings and Queens. His installation as King came after his father, Obi Edward Ofulue III was kidnapped and gruesomely killed 4 years ago.

He was crowned the King of Ubulu -Uku Kingdom in Aniocha South Council of Delta State at the age of 15 but was not allowed to rule because he was yet to complete his education as a lawyer.

In 2017, he completed the University of Exeter with a law degree, making him an attorney in both countries. We wish Chukwuka all the best in his reign as King of Nigeria.
