Top Brazlian model, Cris Galera has ended her marriage to herself as she seeks to get real with life and be married to a man who won her heart.
Cris Galera made headlines on traditional and social media in September after holding a wedding where she reportedly married herself as she posted photos of her on the day of her wedding in front of a Catholic church in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The 33-year-old said that she married herself three months ago because she was tired of relying on men, so she decided to marry herself instead. Cris also said she was embracing being alone and wasn’t “disappointed” that she didn’t have a groom.
Sharing why she rescinded her decision to spend the rest of her life alone by herself, Cris said she has realized she is strong and a determined woman and has found someone special.
In her words, “I reached a point where I matured, I realised that I am a strong and determined woman.
“I was always afraid of being alone, but I realised that I needed to learn to feel good about myself.
“When that happened, I decided to celebrate it”
Well, after 90 days of marrying herself she has come out to disclosed that she’s getting divorce because she’s starting to fall in love with someone special.
Speaking on her divorce she said, “I was happy while it lasted.”
she added: “I started to believe in love the moment I met someone else special”
