The Commissioner of Police, Abdulkadir Jimoh died on 18th December 2020 after a short illness.
According to Prof. Ikpeme A. Ikpeme, Jimoh was rushed to the Calabar University Teaching Hospital pratically dead.
It is unclear that the CP died of COVID-19 however, the Chief Medical Doctor has advised those who were with the deceased to go for testing and begin isolation.
He said;
“He died when he arrived. “The COVID-19 protocol will be followed before his body is evacuated. “
