Multi-talented Nigerian recording artiste and music producer, Johnny Drill has finally released his long-awaited studio album labeled; “Before We Fall Asleep”.
The body of works houses fourteen solid and dope tracks with collaborations from some of your favorite Nigerian musicians. Off ‘Before We Fall Asleep’ album, Johnny Drille shares a beautiful song titled; “Sweet As A Mother’s Loves”.
‘Be fore We Fall Asleep’ happens to be his debut studio album. Johnny Drille, real name John Ighodaro was born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria. He attended the University of Benin, Benin City, where he studied English and Literature.
Johnny Drille made his debut with “Wait for Me”, a sinlge which was released in 2015. ‘Wait For Me’ was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies in 2016.
Johnny Drille gain prominence after releasing a cover to Di’Ja’s hit song; “Awww”. He’s currently signed to Mavin Records, a label founded by respected Nigerian beat-maker, Don Jazzy. Johnny Drille joined the label in 2017.
