Nigerian actress Halima Abubakar concurred with American rapper T.I’s assertion about a parent knowing the status of his daughter’s virginity.
You would recall that some months ago, T.I disclosed that he and his daughter visit a Gynaecologist periodically to check if her daughter’s hymen has been broken or tampered with.
He told the hosts: “Not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen.”

He continued: “Yes, Yes I go with her. I go with her. So it’s this one time we go, I think this might have been after her 16th birthday. This is what we do… Usually, like the day after the [birthday] party, she’s enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: ‘Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30.’”
Reacting to this, Halima Abubakar, she does not see anything wrong with a father or mother checking whether a daughter is still a virgin or not.

The beautiful screen diva recounted when she was 14 years old, her father took to see different doctors three times to be certain about her virginity.
According to her, a virginity test was conducted for this reason, however, she revealed that although she hated him for that she thought her father was only being protective of her.
