“My Fiance Is Too Stingy, Whenever I Bring Up Money, Quarrel”

A grieving Nigerian woman vented her bitterness on social media as she laments about her fiance’s stinginess.

The depressed woman whose identity was not identified at the time of filing this report asked for opinions on whether or not to proceed with the marriage plans and have their wedding.

According to her, fiance who she intends to marry in a month’s time is too stingy.

“I am confused. My wedding is 1 month from now and I have started selling Asoebi since, even the bridal train have paid their money. But my husband to be is a stingy man, I blame myself for bringing this relationship this far even when I noticed those signs.

Some people were saying that some guys may not spend really on you in relationship but in marriage. Whenever I bring up money matters, boom quarrel go just burst. In fact that’s the only thing that brings up fight between us both. I am the generous one, my siblings and those around me can feel it.

He earns more than 1m in a month because he is a sales manager in an FMCG company Ikeja Lagos he is even older than me with 13 years gap.

This relationship is 2 years now and I haven’t gotten up to 200k from him. I am discouraged and want to cut off the whole thing.
