The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party- (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako, commonly known as Chairman Wontumi, has alleged that the Mr John Dramani Mahama’s running mate Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is a who doesn’t believe in God and was purely nominated to lead his spiritual team.
According to him, the former Education minister was appointed because she charmed Mr Mahama and the NDC’s Council of Elders and not because she had something peculiar to offer the party in their bid to reclaim power in the December polls.
The former vice chancellor of the University of Cape Coast was unanimously endorsed by the National Executive Committee of the party on Monday after her name was presented by the flagbearer of the party Mr. Mahama.
Speaking on Wontumi TV on Wednesday 8th July, 2020, he said;
”Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is doesn’t believe in God, Mahama only nominated her to become his Mallam. Even the students she taught in the University all fear her beacuse of how she behaves,”
The NPP stalwart added that;
” Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has nothing good to offer the NDC, Hannah Tetteh would have even been better than her, she performed poorly when she served as Education under the erstwhile Mahama administration,”
