The Nigerian basketball team has honored the late Sound Sultan with their warmup shirt for their game against Australia to express how much love they have for him.
The late Sound Sultan was a lover of basketball and also contributed immensely to the growth of basketball in Nigeria according to netizens and support the players in every way he could and now they are honoring him.
The basketball federation earlier dedicated their win over the USA and Argentina to the late Sound Sultan who wasn’t just a lover of the sport but also contributed to its growth in his own small way and has been appreciated for that.
The basketball team yesterday also observed a minute silence for the late Sound Sultan before their match with Argentina as a way of paying their last respect to a legend and a hero who supported them each step forward.

Netizens reacting to the videos of the basketball team applauded for being thoughtful of honoring the late Sound Sultan with a shirt that has his face on it even though some thought they could have done more with regards to the shirt.
The love shown Sound Sultan after his untimely demise shows how good he was when he was alive and even though he won’t be able to see how much he’s loved, his family will get to know the pure heart he had before his death.
