There’s an uproar on the Nigerian social media landscape after Google did the unthinkable (from the perspective of Nigerians) when the search engine listed Agbani Darego from Nigeria as the ugliest Miss World the pageant has ever seen.

Just typing ‘Who is the ugliest Miss World’ on Google shows the image of Agbani Darego along with this description, “Chief Agbani Darego, MFR (born Agbani Darego, 22 December 1982) is a Nigerian model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World in 2001. She was the first indigenous African to win Miss World.”
