Nomzamo Mbatha has revealed how her foundation had a very successful nationwide back to school campaign.

She gave this update on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

Making the post, she wrote;

“NOMZAMO LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION 💕

So in the middle of my press junkets and promoting the film, I stay up until 2am everyday to make calls and decisions with my team back in South Africa with regards to the work of my @nomzamo_lighthouse

foundation as we embarked on our NATIONWIDE BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN which will target 500 learners across the country in schools that we have identified have a dire need. First stop was in
Diepkloof, Soweto Gauteng at Dumezweni Primary School.
.
When I was in school, getting a new Jersey and school shoes gave me a sense of pride whether walking to school from the bus stop or even during my lessons. My mission with the Lighthouse foundation is TO RESTORE THE DIGNITY and GIVE kids a sense of PRIDE in their learning experience.
.
I want to thank @cottonon_africa
for the tote bags and goodies, @londy_mazwide_eventdesigner for donating R50 000 towards us reaching our target, I’m so very grateful that she believes in this vision and shows up in more ways than one.
I want to especially thank my team @nomzamo_lighthouse for working overtime in growing this foundation and assisting me to make a change in South African communities. You drive from GAUTENG to MUSINA to KZN and now to CAPE TOWN this coming week, to deliver the jerseys and shoes and bags! I don’t know what I would do without you! Truly! KWANDE!”
