Alicia Mohlaloga, a 16-year-old grade 10 learner was reportedly gunned down by a police officer on Friday, October 2 at Seshego Zone 1 EXT in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Reports have it that the police officer shot the little girl for no apparent reason and was influenced by alcohol. The police officer whose identity wasn’t disclosed is to appear the Seshego Magistrate’s court on Monday, 5 October on charges of murder.
Ndileka Cola, the spokesman of the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) disclosed that the officer demanded transportation to Lethuli Park for his family (wife and child) after the abode was flooded by the heavy down pour.

The statement by Cola read;
“It is alleged that when the person arrived at his home, the officer took his wife and child to the car. He then returned, stood in front of another room, which is rented by a woman and her 16-year-old daughter. The officer allegedly fired numerous rounds through their door, with one killing the teenager”
