A video is currently trending on social media that captures the moment some police officers were being confronted by some citizens after they reportedly shot a motorist in the leg.

According to reports, the incident was said to have happened on April 20th, 2022 on Iwo Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The officers were said to have discharged their firearm on the motorist after he refuse to do their bidding after they requested a bribe from him. A tweep who shared the story on Twitter said that the officers first requested his car papers and later wanted to extort him and upon his refusal, they shot him in the leg after they allegedly abused him physically.
Some witnesses were seen confronting the officers for abusing the motorist as the victim stands with the police officers bleeding profusely.
