A pregnant teenage girl in Angwa Dorowa, Nigeria has allegedly committed suicide.
The girl called Anita Haledu Ibrahim, 14, is a student of Government Science School Andaha.
According to a report by the Nation, Anita took herbicide, thereby killing herself.
The report showed that Anita got pregnant for the boyfriend she informed him that she was pregnant with their baby, and thereby leaving the village to Abuja but was traced by Anita’s parents.
He was made to accept the pregnancy and also to marry her.
Moreover, it didn’t go down well for Anita’s father which led him to beat up Anita over the pregnancy.
She took her life by taking in herbicide on Saturday and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Akwanga where she gave up the ghost in the early hours of today July 14.
