Prominent Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye of the famous PSquare music duo has public denied asking his fans to pay him for a giveaway.

This comes after some of his fans reached out to him on social media demanding that he refunds the monies they were convinced to send to a fraudster who was impersonating him on social media in the name of giving back to the fans.
The musician in his tweet stated that he had never tasked his fans on social media to pay him for any giveaway, neither has he even initiated one around the said time.
Peter Okoye also stated that he cannot fathom why his fans will ignorantly bow to the demand of these fraudsters who demanded they send them N7,000 for N140,000 in return.
He wrote on Twitter; A good name is better that a bad name! This victims are so selfish and greedy! I thought Giveaway was some one Giving Away money! But how do this fraudsters convince this victims to pay for Giveaway is something I don’t understand! I will continue disclaiming it! How can some one tell you to send him 7k for you to receive 140k? Does that make any sense? Abi this fraudsters the use Juju for mouth?
