The death has been confirmed of Babatunde Bello, popularly known DJ Babus after he died of Covid-19.

Multiple sources online, with one we culled from Instablog9ja, say he died on Friday, January 29, 2021 after battling the deadly disease.

The late Bello was a Talent Manager at KnightHouse from 2011 to 2014. Babus graduated from the University of Baltimore in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Technology Management

A one-time DJ at Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos, he was the founder of Crates and Vinyl Entertainment. Babus was the son of Mrs. Nadia Bello, Proprietor of Belinna Schools in Akoka, Lagos. His friends and colleagues in the industry have taken to social media to express shock over his demise.

On-Air Personality, Raezy Winston reacted to his death on Twitter by writing: “Lord!! 3 weeks ago I learned privately that Dj Babus was hit with Covid and was in a terrible state. From not being properly attended to panting and struggling to breathe even while on oxygen (even if he was paying ridiculous!).
