The hosts for the much anticipated South African Film And Television Awards have been announced. The audience for this year’s extravaganza should expect nothing but a night of rib cracking experience as comedians Mpho Popps, Lasizwe, Dineo Langa, Lerato Kganyago, and Graeme Richards takes to the stage.
The show award show will be held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic and a possible third wave looming.
Dineo, Mpho and Graeme will be hosting the main show. The red carpet event will be hosted by Youtuber/reality-television star Lasizwe Dambuza and Metro FM DJ Lerato Lganyago.
The Craft Awards, taking place the night before May 21, 2021, will be streaming live on the SAFTAs YouTube channel from 19h00. They’ll be hosted by Tracey Lange & SA’s funny girl and satirist, Coconut Kelz.
The news will come as a huge blow to the fans of Yo.tv star Hulisani Ravele after they campaigned for her to be the host of this year’s edition back in March on Twitter.
The trend was started by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela.
