Nigerian music producer Samklef has issued a 6-day ultimatum to Nigerian recording artiste and music executive, Olubankole Wellington, widely known as Banky W over unpaid royalties.

Recall that Samklef took to his page a few days ago to drag Banky W over 11-years of unpaid royalties from Wizkid’s studio album; “Superstar” which was produced and released under his EME label.

Samklef revealed that he will be claiming all his 11 years of royalties for ‘Superstar’ album production. Well, the famous singer and ‘Yes/No’ hit-maker has replied to the versatile music producer.

However, Banky W responded to his call out saying that he does not have his royalties in his possession because the released song of Wizkid did not have his name nor the name of his record label EME on it hence he should work out with the people with his money.

In a rebuttal, Samklef has taken to his page to warn Banky W not to mess with him as his lawyers have advised him to hold him responsible for his unpaid royalties.

“U all remembered Banky told me to drag @wizkidayo based on my publishing and royalties for the past 11 years ? after consulting with my team of Lawyers, have been told to drag Banky not wizkidayo cause the album was released under EME.”

“So I will give him 6 days to provide me both his lawyers and wizkidayo lawyers’ emails. Samklef opened the courthouse. If he sold the album out. I would like to know b4 next week. Don’t play with me.”

“The album was released under EME. So na @bankywellington go need drag @wizkidayo as I wan drag am more so!”
