Samoa and some parts of Kiribati, both island nations have already entered the year 2021 as several countries wait to do likewise in some few hour’s time.
BNO News reports that both countries have achieved this ‘feat’ because they are way above many countries by 14 hours. Hawaii is another place that is on its time level. The same media also said that this would be the ninth time Samoa will be ahead of several countries to cross into the new year.
Meanwhile, New Zealand also welcomed 2021 fifteen minutes after the aforementioned countries did so making Chatham the second-earliest place on earth to ‘enter’ into the new year.
