Just show me any artiste in Ghana and Africa who has achieved so much within a relatively short period in the music industry like he has done and I’ll show you the biggest liar in the world..LOL!
We all know the chronicles of his journey as far the music industry in concerned; dude started as far back as 2002 but couldn’t sustain his momentum following his biggest hit and street anthem, Bandana from Ghana.
This culminated in a long hiatus to perhaps restrategise after which he bounced back with the new name, Shatta Wale- the product of which is the high-profile brand he possesses now.
He has been one of the few consistent GH artistes with back-to-back hit songs and several awards to his name in recent times.
As it stands now, he’s officially the most decorated artiste in Africa with an incredible 71-awards to his credit and we have proof here.
Impressively, he managed to do this within a span of six years and at the time that he got blacklisted by the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) for insulting them after an award he believed he should have won went to Kaakie.
Shatta Wale is a legend, no two ways about this.
