Award-winning South African singer Nhlanhla Nciza of the famous Mafhikizolo group couldn’t be much prouder seeing her little boy grow. The star took to her Instagram account yesterday to celebrate her little prince on his birthday.
First the singer said a prayer for her son, asking God to protect him always.
“Happy birthday to my smile keeper, the one who holds the key to my heart. The one whose smile just melts my heart. I love you so much Luvuyo, I love your beautiful heart. I love how you see beauty in everything and everyone and this world may make it seem like that is a weakness but that’s actually your power my son,” she wrote.
“The results of fighting wickedness with love is the everlasting life and that is power, so don’t you change your beautiful heart for nothing. I pray for God’s protection over you always. Happy birthday my son🖤”

Meanwhile, last month Nhlanhla penned a lengthy Instagram post talking about Luvuyo. She said Luvuyo saved her when she was going through a very tough period in her life.
“You came to my rescue again in 2019 when your dad and I got divorced, once again you saved my life. One of the worst years of my life. I was in such a dark place, so broken, so depressed, and in so much pain that at times it felt too much to bear. And you my son, just a thought of you or a look at your face brought back a little glimpse of light back into my life, and I hung on to that little spark of light with my dear life. And just like that, you brought me back to life. You gave me a reason to fight, to get back on my feet, and to never give up.”
She said Luvuyo is the reason she’s alive and she owes him for that.
“Luvuyo my little brave gift from God, you my baby are my sunshine, my joy, and my happy place. You are the reason I wake up every and strive to be a better person than I was, the reason I want to do good, and the reason I’m excited about the future. You my son are the reason I’m alive.
“You saved my life not once but twice already in your young life and because of you, no one can ever stand before me and question God’s love for me. You breathed life back into my body and I will never forget that for as long as I live. I want you to know that you are not only my son but you are my hero too.
