In a piece of sad news, a group of children have been confirmed dead in Zamfara State.
The number of children involved in six children and it has happened during an explosion at Magami village in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The incident was confirmed by the Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs for Zamfara State, Abubakar Dauran.
Confirming t he incident, he indicated that the victims went to the bush in search of firewood when they picked an explosive device and were playing with it as they thought it was a toy.
Unfortunately, the explosive exploded killing six children and leaving the others heavily injured adding that all the children who sustained injuries were rushed to the hospital immediate for medical attention.
