Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay has revealed the motive behind her decision not to take pictures with his male fans and celebrities.
Seyi Shay born Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua disclosed in a series of tweets that she stopped taking photos with male fans and male public figures in order to prevent scandals or rumors of affair.
She espoused that being pretty coupled with her celebrity status comes with many scandals like having a romantic affair with them and according to her, some men have claimed they have had an amorous affair with her but she denied meeting any one of them.
She tweeted
“People talk so much about ‘pretty privilege’ but always forget to talk about some of the mess you deal with when you’re ‘pretty’. Ask your pretty friends and sisters. #Pempe.
“Should I start mentioning the names of guys who at one point said they slept with Seyi Shay when I’ve never met them in my life? They want to associate with a hot girl so bad at the expense of anything. Insecurity of fuck-boy-rism? #Pempe.”
