Former Nigerian beauty queen, Dabota Lawson has revealed what she discovered as she went about her make-up business.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she indicated that her product was being cloned and this unscrupulous act was done by some she is supporting and even renders help in their business.
Sharing her ordeal, she wrote;
“It was a very tough weekend for me I can’t even front . I had to swallow a very tough pill realizing that someone who I support and render help with their business decided to clone my product “ THE GRAIL” by @dabota_cosmetics just to ride of the wave of my creativity, money , time & sweat I put Into promoting my new baby product . To think people will go to the length of repacking an existing product of theirs just to cut me short of my earnings has made me realize there’s no friend in this business just people with common goals who will strike when there’s an opportunity to do so. Anyway I rise above. God is with me.”
