Sonya Eddy Cause Of Death, Age, Husband, Children, Funeral – American actress, Sonya Eddy noted for her role in General Hospital is dead.

The death of the black actress was announced via social media through colleague actress Octavia Spencer.

“My friend @sonyaeddy passed away last night,” Spencer captioned a headshot of Eddy. “The world lost another creative angel. Her legions of @generalhospitalabc fans will miss her 💔🕊️”

Sonya Eddy was born on June 17, 1967, in Concord, California. Her love for the movie industry made her pursue theatre and dance at the University of California, Davis where she was awarded her BA.

Before her rise to fame, Sonya Eddy starred in a couple of movies. Her debut acting role was in the year 1990 in the play titled “Zora Is My Name”

She later moved to Los Angeles where she appeared in other roles. In 2006, Eddy got a role on the Television series, Epiphany Johnson and General Hospital where she later went on to become a regular cast in the TV series.
