The Coronavirus case count in South Africa has seen as a significant increase as 10,000 new cases have been recorded.
These number of cases were recorded in just 24 hours.
An update by the health ministry showed that the total number of infections in the country is now 187,977 with the number of deaths being 3,026.
According tot the Health authorities, they expected an increase in the cases as the loosening of the lockdown was being enforced.
South Africa is now the African country with the highest number of Coronavirus cases.
