South Africans have taken to social media to weigh on the news by Master KG’s record label company as they demand brands to pay fees for using the ‘Jerusalema’ song.

This was after the record label said the use of the hit song, now comes with a huge price, for companies and Gov’t entities who used the song to advertise and promote their product and service.

Newzroom Afrika reports that: “Master KG‘s record label company, demands license fees for using the #Jerusalema song in videos, and German government entities are on the list. Also at fault are companies that used the dance challenge to advertise their own products and services.”

South Africans took their social media pages to congratulate the record lable for their smart move as some also believes the music producer will fetch lots of money from this new rule because, lots of big and international companies used the song.
