Ex-convict, Seun Egbegbe has just shared an emotional video of his mother and him reuniting after a six-year separation.
Seun Egbegbe, k nown in real life as Olajide Kareem, is a producer and director for Nollywood who was convicted of fraud and given a six-year prison term in Lagos.
Seun Egbegbe was put on remand on February 10 after it was claimed that over the course of two years between 2015 and 2017, he obtained cash under false pretense from no less than 40 Bureaux de Change employees.
He was accused of lying to the BDC staff when he claimed to have naira to exchange for foreign currency.
Only one of the 44 accusations made against him—Count 19—was proven to be accurate, and as a result, Egbegbe received a punishment.
Seun Egbegbe shared the video on his social media pages and praised God for allowing him to meet her. The mother and boy could be seen crying together and cuddling each other in the footage.
