Chairman of the National Peace Council (NPC), Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante has implored Ghanaians to desist from playing games with the Coronavirus pandemic.
The man of God says it is about a time Ghanaians stopped playing with the deadly virus, adding the virus is real and doesn’t know any political party.
“Ghanaians should abide by the directives by the Ministry of Health concerning the coronavirus to reduce the numbers of confirmed cases. The cases keep escalating as the day goes by and some Ghanaians think it’s a joke. People are dying, so it’s about time we keep our heads up and help the fight of the deadly disease” he told Dadi FM.
Commenting further, Prof. Emmanuel Asante mentioned that prayer alone cannot help to battle the disease but rather, adherence to the directives and also asking for God’s intervention is what would save us all.
He, however, charged all political parties, to unify to help combat the covid-19 pandemic.
