The supreme court has finally declared that virtual courtroom sittings can proceed as it has been ruled as constitutional.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday struck out the suits documented by Lagos and Ekiti state governments testing the legitimacy and defendability of the Virtual court sittings methodology for been theoretical in nature with no substantial reason for the activity.
A seven part board of the Supreme Court drove by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour pronounced that Virtual court sittings methodology are established.
The court took the choice after the two states pulled back the suits recorded against the Attorney General of the Federation and the National Assembly.
The peak court cautioned that any Judge who would not sit through virtual procedures ought to be accounted for to the National Judicial Council (NJC) for disciplinary activity.
