In other news, Ghanaian media icon and showbiz pundit, Rya Anakwa has also reacted to the sentiments expressed by the rapper, Sarkodie over the insensitive comments Ghanaian media personalities make about musicians.

The rapper speaking with Firestick in an interview claimed that the individuals who make up Ghana’s media landscape have no moral standing to judge Ghanaian musicians or give them advice about how to manage their music brands

Sarkodie added that because they are unaware of the nature of musicians’ careers as entertainers, it is quite simple for Ghanaian media figures and entertainment experts to condemn them harshly.

He asserted that Ghanaian media figures lack a moral right to criticize Ghanaian singers unless they meet or exceed the standards of international media organizations like the BBC.

In reaction to his sentiments, Rya Anakwa in an interview on the Daybreak Hitz segment with Andy Dosty said that Sarkodie’s sentiments and emotions about the Ghanaian media landscape cannot be invalidated.
