The Kaduna state government has revealed about 937 people were killed by bandits in the state in the year, 2020.
This was made known by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
He was speaking during a presentation of the 2020 Security report before traditional rulers, members of the civil society organizations, and the media at the Government House in Kaduna when he revealed this.
He stated that despite the challenges, the government in collaboration with security agencies is working hard to curb and possibly eliminate the situation in the state.
Giving details, he indicated that the Igabi Local Government Area of the state has the highest figures of 152 deaths followed by the Zango Kataf local government with 114 deaths.
