A wedding souvenir that captures the marriage between a Nigerian elderly man believed to be a grandfather and a teenage girl believed to be below 15 years has sparked outrage among some Nigerians.
The photo of the couple’s wedding calendar posted by a Twitter user revealed that their wedding took place on January, 22 in the northern part of Nigeria.
Reacting to the photo, Twitter users condemned the Islamic clergy who approved of the marriage and said that the wedding is unworthy of celebration.
