#EndSARS protestors in Osun state suffered a great setback last night as they were attacked by thugs allegedly hired by the government.

According to media report, the thugs attacked the unarmed and peaceful protestors as they went about protesting on the street for the scrapping of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad and a new Nigeria.

Apparently the thugs also burglarized the Osun shopping mall and made away with items worth millions of Naira. In the video, the shop attendants could be seen wailing as the shops were tossed upside down by the thugs.

Netizens believe this to be a strategy used by the government to put the attack on the protestors.
