Prince Oluzor, the manager of Nigerian dancehall artist Timaya, was shot and killed outside a fuel station in Atlanta, United States.

The 38-year-old reportedly stopped at the BP on 14th Street NW at Atlantic Drive close to Georgia Tech at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31.

Prince reportedly saw some people trying to sneak into his car as he was standing in line at the store for a few minutes and immediately raced outside to pursue them.

One of the armed suspects fired a shot at him as he drew closer, knocking him to the ground. Prince, who is also Timaya’s best friend, was injured and taken to the hospital, where he later passed away.

The two to three suspects, according to the police, are still at large. They were last observed driving away in a four-door grey or silver sedan travelling west on 14th Street NW.

Timaya shared the tragic news on Twitter and mentioned that he had just lately made amends with the deceased.

”I can’t believe I came to America to bury my BEST friend. Nnamdi why? And we just reconciled.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭’‘ he tweeted.
