Former Governor of Lagos State and presidential hopeful Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been praised by Afrobeat artist Harrysong after formally endorsing Governor Sanwo-Olu and his deputy Obafemi Hamzat for a second term.
Tinubu’s latest move was criticized by Harrysong, who posted a comment on an Instagram page in which the revelation was announced.
At a gathering in Lagos on Friday, Mr Tinubu, a two-term Lagos governor, endorsed the governor and his deputy.
Mr Sanwo-Olu chose the nomination and declaration of candidacy papers just days before the approval.
The Lagos APC’s ultimate leadership body, the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), had also unanimously approved Mr Sanwo-Olu for a second term.
Recorded by KEmifilani news, Harrysong reacting to the endorsement wrote;
“Na em dey endore the next governor, na em still wan be President. Tinubu = the owner of Nigeria,”
In other news, Nollywood actor, director, and producer, Yul Edochie, and his second wife, Judy Austin took their son to church for dedication.
This comes just hours after the Yul Edochie disclosed his second marriage, in which he had a child without informing his first wife.
