Nigerian movie star, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has rallied behind her colleague, Funke Akindele after she was arrested for defying the lockdown order.
Funke Akindele-Bello was arrested, charged and pleaded guilty after she organized a house party to celebrate her husband’s birthday.
She was later sentenced by a Lagos Court. However, she has apologized and explained the reasons behind her action and her explanation came after she received heavy bashing online.
Her colleague, Nkechi in a recent social media post on Instagram threw her weight behind her as she shared a photo of Funke Akindele with the caption;
“In my own eyes, you can never be wrong?? After all the explanation? It’s well✌…Love and light Maami”
