Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has taken to his page to throw a shade at actress now cum politician Funke Akindele in relation to her political career.
The actor has taken to his Instagram page to throw his support behind Tonto Dikeh saying that she is the only qualified actress for the position of deputy governorship candidacy.

According to the actor, actress Tonto Dikeh in the past has empowered a lot of women in Rivers State. He disclosed that Tonto Dikeh has a foundation where she used to help society even before joining politics. Uche also questioned how many people actress Funke Akindele has helped or given scholarships to in society.
Meanwhile, a few days ago, ADC Party disclosed in a press conference the reason why they chose actress Tonto Dikeh as the deputy governorship candidate.

“The choice of Tonto Dike is like we are coming with something that is quite different.
“We sat down and we felt that we have someone like Tonto Dike with us and she’s also very good. We know her capacity across the board, but what many people did not know about her is her political ability and ambition.
“We have been having conversations with her; she’s been a party member for more than a year now.
“We looked at choosing a female running mate and by the time we looked at all of these, we believed she’s the best for that position.
“We also did that to encourage the women to be in politics and believe you me, since she came on board, it has created a lot of awareness for women to know that they can actually be active in politics, especially the young ones.
