Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tubaba (variant spelling 2Baba) has clocked 46years today, September 18.
The clean-shaven smooth singing artiste who burst onto the scene on the wings of his monster hit African Queen two decades ago, took to his official Instagram page to say he is trying to do be a better man in the midst of all his imperfections.
His post is firmly hinged on the seeming storm in his marriage that became very topical on social media after his wife Annie Idibia displayed tendencies that nearly set fire on their marital mountain.
Sharing a loved-up photo of him and Annie, Tubaba wrote;
“I know I’m not without mistakes neither I’m I perfect but we keep learning and working and striving to become the best version of ourselves. It is well.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ME.
MAY THE ALMIGHTY GUIDE ALL OF US AND PROTECT OUR HOMES.”

The musician asked the media to respect their privacy as they deal with the raging storm in their marriage internally.
He wrote: “I admit that bringing our personal issues to social media was not cool but I will not sit back and watch everyone have a free for all battle in the name of love and solidarity.
None of us is perfect. I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids.
Let us deal with our issues internally. I take God beg una.”
