Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has indicated that industry players abandoned one of their own an in fact a stalwart in the movie industry, Genevieve Nnaji after she had a mental breakdown with the exception of Tonto Dikeh.
It was alleged that Genevieve Nnaji suffered a mental breakdown and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Texas, United States.
A medical practitioner who works in the US named Sil Fenesse affirmed this report.
Genevieve’s alleged illness has not been officially confirmed either by her management or the health facility purported to be treating her, however, she had erased all of her posts on social media which allowed the rumors to spread.
Stella Dimokokorkus, a Nigerian blogger based in Germany at the time, refuted these claims and implored fans to send love and prayers to Genevieve Nnaji in order for her to triumph over her challenges
She said:
“I have been discussing with some of her closest from way back and we are wondering what would have happened if the info gets into the wrong hands and they decide to run with lies without investigating”
Well, in a recent update on his Instagram page, Uche Maduagwu commended Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh for allegedly checking up on her senior colleague Genevieve Nnaji while in her distress.
He wrote:
“This is so unfair. No actresses check up on aunty Genevieve again only Mama king does. Mama king thanks for always looking out for our legendary queen.”
