Governor of the southwestern state in Nigeria (Ogun State), Dapo Abiodun, has shut down a factory in Ewekoro, Ogun state, following the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in the area.

The state governor revealed that 28 people who are believed to have had contact with the Italian carrier of the coronavirus have been identified and quarantined till all test have been run and declared negative.

The 44-year-old Italian carrier of the virus is said to be a consultant to the Lafarge, Ewekoro factory where he performs his duties with the people and staff of the company. The governor added that all efforts are on to track down people who have come into contact with the italian to prevent people from spreading or contracting the virus.
