A video of pregnant woman competing at the 20th National Sports Festival has got people talking after it surfaced online.
The pregnant athlete called Aminat Idrees won a gold medal in Taekwondo while competing at the National Sports Festival which is now being held in Benin, Edo State.
It was gathered that she won a gold medal for Lagos in the Mixed Poomsae category in Taekwondo together with his male match, Arowora Roqeeb. Aminat is said to be 8 months pregnant.

According to reports, this achievement is the first gold win of Team Lagos at Edo 202. Not only did Aminate win a gold medal for her team, she also won Silver in the female team Poomsae category and an individual bronze in the same category making her one of the leading medalists at the ongoing festival.
Recall that the sports festival was postponed 4 times due to the coronavirus pandemic. It just began on April 2nd and will end on April 14th in various venues in Benin, Edo State.
