Nigerian female vocal powerhouse Waje has recalled the time she returned a huge sum of money to a man who expressed interest in investing in her music career some years ago.
Born Aituaje Iruobe, Waje revealed that the said investor an amount of 25 million naira into her music when she planned on shooting her ‘I wish’ video in 2013.

According to the Edo State bred singer, things were running smoothly between her the inves tor until the man wanted to improvise in a more suggestive manner.
Waje stated that due to how events were unfolding she had to pull out it was supposed to be an agreement both parties.

The ‘Do me’ singer made this revelation during a live interview on Instagram with media personality and CEO of Made Men Music, Ubi Franklin.
” I carry the 25 million naira, returned it to them so that i can drink water and keep cup” she said.
