Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter Ibrahim Ayo Balogun well known in the music industry as Wizkid has opened up on how he became a successful artist.
In an Instagram live session with Tony Elumelu Foundation, he disclosed that he is always hungry for success when he started his music career as a young man who wanted to achieve his career goals.

“I would say it’s never taking no for an answer. When l started, I was the youngest in music… everywhere l go to then, l was pretty much the youngest. But I just didn’t take no for an answer, and that has really helped in shaping me into the man that I’m today. When I think about it, I simply go for it,” Wizkid said.”
