Highly Spiritual Music signed singer, Andrew Commey Otoo, affectionately known as Mr. Drew has explained how important it is for a musician to win from the most prestigious award scheme in the world, Grammys.

This comes a few days after the Chief Executive Officer of the Recording Academy, Harvey Mason Jnr. explained to Ghanaian creatives the processes and the channels they need to pass through be fore winning Grammys.
Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Mr. Drew revealed that Grammy would mean so much to him when he is able to grab one in the near future.
He stated that he is glad for the fact that the Recording Academy plans on making the Afrobeat genre a category on their award scheme just to give chance to African musicians to also win from the prestigious platform.
He said that he knows it wouldn’t take effect immediately but he is very sure that the plan will come to pass in the future and creatives in the country and Africa would be able to put in more work into their crafts just to gain recognition on the platform.
Mr. Drew also said that it would mean so much to him to win from the platform and be recognized among some of the biggest stars in the world.
