Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known within the showbiz circles as Wizkid continues his rapid rise to the top of African music royalty.

The Grammy winning singer, songwriter, entertainer and performing artiste on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 finally served the music community with his much anticipated proect captioned; ‘Bad To Me’.

In less than 24 hours of its release, the beautifully crafted single, ‘Bad To Me’ which happens to be Wizkid’s first major release this year (2022) has officially made its debut on the Apple Music Charts.

As at the evening of its release, the song had surfaced in the first position of Apple Music’s Top Songs in Nigeria. A number of celebrities has also reacted to the Starboy Entertainment’s masterpiece.

MEANWHILE: Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido has slammed South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa as the Amapiano tussle continues.

The multiple award winning singer and DMW headline artiste, Davido in a post has replied top South African disc jockey and recording act, DJ Maphorisa over an ongoing debate about who started Amapiano.

The tussle started on Wednesday, 14 2022, after a Twitter user claimed the ‘Assurance’ hit-maker, Davido started Amapiano in Africa. A post which was debunked by DJ Maphorisa stating that, the first Amapiano song, ‘Sponono’ which was reelased in 2019 featured Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Davido quoted the tweet, slamming DJ Maphorisa whiles stating that the DJ never liked him, asking him why. He went on to mock him with the success of his song with his South Africa’s Focalistic, who has two monster amapiano hits with Davido.

The DMW singer wrote, “You’ve never liked me y ? I’ve always been good to you …. Anyways ! AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY NOW!!!!!! Chu chu chu chu chu”
