Wizkid has come under fire from up-and-coming musician Benkrezt for suggesting a partnership with Davido.
Wizkid recently disclosed in an interview that he was working with one of his adversaries.
According to him, on his most recent album, he included a performer who many people regarded as a “rival.”
Many people believed that Wizkid was referring to Davido when the interview went viral.
Benkrezt criticized Wizkid for clout seeking while defending Davido. He said the Grammy-winning musician intended to exploit Davido to promote his most recent record.
He continued that if the cooperation ever materializes, Davido is merely doing him a favor.
“Sir as per what now, Now you wan use our Davido trend your album, if that collab happen, just know it’s not a favor”. he wrote on his Instagram story.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has turned to his Snapchat page to cast shade, ordering his colleagues and music lovers perhaps to refer to him as daddy or sir when they want to address him by name.
In a post that was seen on Wizkid’s account, he said that even if he stopped making songs and did nothing, his rivals would still not be able to generate as much money as he had.
Wizkid continued by saying that his fellow musicians wouldn’t succeed financially even if they asked their parents for assistance.
