The electoral commision of Ghana has announced that electorates can verify their their registeration details through Electoral Commission’s shortcode 1422 with a cost of 30p for service.
At a press conference on Thursday, 17 September 2020, the electoral commission chairperson Jean Mensa said this will make accessibility to the exercise very easy for those who have busy schedule to access their details.

“In a bid to ensure the safety and security of our stakeholders and to make life easier for all prospective voters, the Commission will deploy a mobile telephoning system, also known the SMS to allow prospective voters to check their details using their mobile phones for a fee of 30 pesewas.”
The voters exhibition exercise started today across the nation and is expected to last for eight days.
