The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has indicated that the governments major policy programme “Free Senior High School” has the tendency to reduce arm robbery in the nation.

Speaking on Kumasi base Nhyira FM and monitored by ghgossip.com,Mr Obiri Boahen suggested that the successful implementation of the free “SHS” in the four to five years and even the successful implementation of free tertiary education in the next years ahead will go a long way to reduce armed robbery in Ghana.

“Free Senior High School, if implemented for at least about four or five years, and proceed to the implementation of Free Tertiary, in the next ten or fifteen years if we still have free SHS and Free Tertiary, armed robbery cases will reduce”.
