The Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission, Prof Stephen Adei has urged on the government to reexamine its idea about Free Senior High School policy.
According to Prof Adei in an interview with Joy News, the Free SHS policy is a disaster. He said that the idea of the Free SHS policy is draining the economy due to the 7.5 billion cedis the government have been pumping into it every year.
Prof Adei added, ‘some schools should be made autonomous and fee-paying like people who wish for their wards to attend Achimota s and the Weh Gey Heys should be allowed to pay fees.
He then added, ‘since only a small number of poor people go to Achimota, the wealthy should be allowed to pay fees, Make use of the Achimota monies to establish excellent schools in every area so that students do not have to travel long distances to attend. They just come from their surrounding villages he said again’.
Meanwhile, the unsolicited outbursts and exposure by Mental Health advocate, Abena Korkor, is becoming worrisome and irritating to some discerning folks in the country and indeed she always leaves indelible marks of humiliation on the names that appear in her PSAs.

Reacting to this, Stonebwoy’s rival turned friend and colleague, Shatta Wale mocked him indirectly referring to him as ‘Seargeant Lee’.
